Heidi gained her honours degree in Hong Kong and extensive work experience in numerous clinical settings across Hong Kong, Melbourne, Boston and Singapore since 2002.

She moved to Singapore in 2008 to work in Tan Tock Seng Hospital and was instrumental in the running of the TTSH’s orthotics services in KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital for 5 years. Through her years of working with babies and children, she has developed an interest in paediatrics and is also a specialist in foot biomechanics.

Heidi co-founded Orthopaedia Singapore with Susanna in 2014 when they identified the importance and shared common passion for early intervention in children for orthotic treatment.

Always striving for quality, the team established a 2nd clinic to be opened in Hong Kong, Heidi’s home ground. This birth forth Orthopaedia Hong Kong, which specializes in cranial remoulding therapy as well as lower extremity orthotics.

On a personal note, Heidi spends her free time with her husband and pet cats and has also taken up the art of calligraphy. In addition, she is adjusting to her new role as a mother.

Susanna was Singapore’s first local female P&O when she completed her honours degree in Salford (UK) in 2000. She received the Best Clinical Award, Outstanding Academic Award, the Final Year Prize and UK’s Limbless Association Award in the course of her study. This was made possible with the prestigious Dr William Tan Scholarship by Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Being the pioneer in this field, Susanna has published and presented at various local and overseas conferences. Never cease to stop learning, she earned a master’s degree in London (UK) in 2004. Susanna was the Centre Manager of Foot Care and Limb Design Centre (FLC) which is made up of the Prosthetics & Orthotics and Podiatry services at Singapore’s Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Susanna has vast experience dealing with postural management of children with disabilities and has developed a special interest in paediatrics orthotics. She was involved with the first cranial remoulding helmet therapy at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in 2008. Susanna believes in investing in advanced diagnostic technology that will provide accurate measurement and objective assessment to determine the prescription that will enhance quality life for our clients.

Susanna de-stresses by cycling and enjoys traveling with family every school holiday.

Lucetta graduated with an honours in Prosthetics & Orthotics in 2002. She has gained experienced working within the Hospital Authority and in private clinics in Hong Kong. Subsequently, she worked in the training industry but decided her passion remains in Allied Health. She joined the Orthopaedia team as an Orthotist as she truly enjoys the interaction with babies and children.

Outside of work, Lucetta spend great amount of time with her pet dogs and cat, and loves cycling and hiking, especially during the cool season.

MANA CHOI

Mana graduated with an honours degree in 2015. She was attached to several hospitals in Hong Kong for internship, including a one-year post-degree Graduate Prosthetist-Orthotist Training Programme in Princess Margaret Hospital in 2016.

Bearing an adventurous personality, Mana joined Orthopaedia in December 2016 and embarked on a 6-month intensive clinical training in Paediatrics Cranial Remoulding and Ankle-Foot orthoses in Singapore. She truly enjoys the daily interaction with babies and children and is delighted to see them receive the required orthotic treatment successfully.

On a personal level, Mana loves to hike and embrace the nature as she goes on her regular hiking.
